My Favorite Cupboard

I’ve been working on downsizing/reorganizing my kitchen this winter.  I have gotten rid of tons of glassware and have several boxes of dishes that need to be put in storage.  Now half of my kitchen cupboards have reasonable numbers of plates, cups, mugs, bowls, and saucers.  The cupboards have only the amounts of “stuff” that we actually use on a daily/weekly basis. Now, I actually have room for Fiona’s food and treats!

The other half of my kitchen is still a disaster.  The disorganized side includes plastic containers and lids…I will need to devote an entire weekend for that project.

My favorite cupboard is my coffee/tea cupboard.  I actually have a cupboard that is dedicated to my favorite hot beverages.  I have mugs/cups on the middle shelf, glassware on the top shelf, and the bottom shelf is dedicated to coffee, filters, tea and tea supplies.  I love it.

The challenge for 52frames was “In The Kitchen”.  I snapped a few shots of my favorite cupboard and called it good…then today read the tips and tuts and realized I could have put more effort toward my photo this week. The shot includes two mugs that I purchased recently with the 52frames logo and cute/funny statements displayed.

The photo was taken with my iPhone and edited in Luminar.  I’m still using my free trial and having fun with the software.  I will probably end up purchasing the full product.

am in my early 50's and enjoy writing about all of the stuff that comes up when you are in your early 50's. I am somewhat disorganized with blogging, thus I have several blogs started, then forgotten about once those "thoughts" give away to other "thoughts." This musing of a blog seems to be the one I come back to the most, so here is where you will find me.
