Lasko I love you!

This is the most wonderful gadget EVER.  I originally purchased this on Amazon (completely reasonably priced but I can’t remember how much) to use at work.  It is a clip on fan.  I was disappointed because I didn’t have a good spot to clip it to in my cubicle so I brought it home and pondered just donating it to charity.  Then I had a lightbulb moment. My husband complains when I run the fan at night (hello hot flashes!) because he gets too cold.  So, I attached this to my headboard and I cannot believe what a difference it makes.  The angle is adjustable so I have it set so that it blows just over my head while laying down (as opposed to blowing right in the face.)  I can turn it off and on while laying in bed…although the design of the on off switch is a bit awkward-it is behind the fan.  So, when a hot flash comes on I turn the fan on and it’s much better.  Lately I’ve just been having it on all night.  There is just enough of a “hum” to create a bit of white/pink noise to help with sleep. With this fan my husband doesn’t get cold, and actually is never even aware that it is on.  So, for those of you out there with hot flashes, I highly recommend this little fan.

am in my early 50's and enjoy writing about all of the stuff that comes up when you are in your early 50's. I am somewhat disorganized with blogging, thus I have several blogs started, then forgotten about once those "thoughts" give away to other "thoughts." This musing of a blog seems to be the one I come back to the most, so here is where you will find me.
